[YELLOW]Updated to Yellow. Green volunteer needed help from a staff member to rekennel the dog. Volunteer noted that dog was "fearful and not treat motivated. Whenever I tried to coax her into the kennel, she jumped and put her paws up on my shoulders...She also seemed agitated by the leash."Friendly, playful, energetic young dog, will need continued appropriate socialization with new people, places and other animals. Recommend adopters continue to work on basic manners (leash skills, recall, sit) using a patient, reward-based training approach. Training should begin immediately before unwanted behaviors develop.
