About Kiba’s Breed:
Our best guess is that Kiba is a Shih Tzu mixed breed. Shih Tzus are affectionate, people-oriented companion dogs known for their loyal nature and charming personalities. Originally bred to be lap dogs, they thrive on human companionship and often form strong bonds with their families. They are generally friendly, adaptable, and enjoy a balance of playtime and relaxation.
The ideal home for a Shih Tzu is one where they can be included as part of the family and receive plenty of attention. They do well in apartments, condos, or larger homes, as long as their exercise and social needs are met. Shih Tzus are often a great fit for families, couples, retirees, or individuals who are home frequently and can provide the companionship they love.
What to Love about Kiba:
Kiba is searching for a forever home alongside his beloved sister, Lexi. These two are deeply bonded and share a beautiful friendship filled with walks, snuggles, and constant companionship. Wherever Lexi goes, Kiba is never far behind!
Kiba has an incredibly sweet and social personality. He recently joined his foster family on a shopping trip and thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone he encountered. People, kids, and new friends are all welcome in Kiba's world, especially if they're willing to stop and give him a few pets. He loves attention and has a gentle, loving nature that makes him easy to adore.
While Kiba is friendly and outgoing, he also looks to Lexi for comfort and reassurance. Watching them together is truly heartwarming as they walk side by side, cuddle up for naps, and support each other through life's adventures. Because of their special bond, Kiba and Lexi are looking for a home where they can stay together.
Kiba is potty trained, though he still has some marking tendencies, and he is not crate trained. One thing that's very important to know about him is that he loves being with his people. Kiba gets sad when left alone for long periods and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to provide the companionship he craves.
He's wonderful with other dogs, has done great with children, and is known for being gentle and affectionate when meeting new people. He has not yet met cats, but he would be open to a proper introduction. With his moderate energy level and excellent leash manners, Kiba is equally happy joining you for a walk or relaxing nearby while you go about your day.
If you're looking for a sweet, friendly companion who will greet you with a wagging tail and a loving heart, Kiba may be your perfect match. And with Lexi by his side, you'll get twice the love, twice the cuddles, and twice the joy!
