A FUN, SWEET & ACTIVE FRIEND: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 19 lbs.

Hi there, I'm Vanessa! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home. I'm enjoying my time with the nice volunteers who spend time with and take great care of me—they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my fun and lively spirit!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / No cats please. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a playful, friendly, and sweet girl with an active personality and a whole lot of fun to share! I'm a busy gal who likes to keep things interesting, so if you're looking for a couch potato, that's not me! I'd love a family who enjoys spending time together and can give me plenty of fun activities to keep my mind and body happy. I was a very good girl for my bath, even lifting each paw for rinsing like a little lady! And just look at my beautiful coat! I do enjoy expressing myself with a bit of talking, so apartment or condo living may not be the best fit for me. One important thing to know is that I'm a door dasher, so please be extra careful when entering and exiting to keep me safe. I'm a lively, loving girl ready to bring plenty of fun and companionship to my furever family! / Energy level: 5-7, sometimes a bit higher.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'come' and 'drop it' commands. I'm working on my leash manners now as I do zig-zag a bit and could trip you. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and were good in a temporary home I visited for about a week. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule and were good in the temporary home I visited for about a week.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, running around, and having fun with my people! If you have a fenced yard, I think we could have a great time running and playing together. I'm also a fan of good butt scratches (oh, that's the spot!) and, even though I'm an active girl, I enjoy being carried and held for a little cuddle time, too. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / I can't think of any dislikes other than not getting enough activity and like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.

I'm a wonderful fun-loving girl looking for a family that will include me in on the family fun and love me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Who We Are: Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Adopting a Friend: Dogs:
Our standard adoption fee is $299. Each dog that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) • De-Worming • Microchip • Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats and kittens. Each cat that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) • De-Worming • Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application through our website, www.mostlymutts.org. You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.
