Hi there, I'm Amanda! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home and family. I'm glad to be here and am enjoying my time in a wonderful foster home while I wait to meet my new family. Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did well with the male dogs but wasn't totally sure about the females, so if you have a dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I really like the 11- and 16-year-old kids in my foster home, so if you have kids, let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a sweet, happy and friendly girl who loves people and enjoys making them smile! I have a playful side, but I also know how to settle down and enjoy some quiet time. I'm a people-pleaser and want to do my best to make you happy. I was a good girl for my bath, sitting calmly and letting my bather take good care of me. I have a lovely personality and a wonderful balance of playful fun and easygoing companionship, and I can't wait to share lots of love with my furever family! / Energy level: 3-5.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: In my foster home, I wait patiently to be fed and wait to be released before going out the door. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let's do some training together. / I'm doing very well with my crate manners in my foster home. At the shelter I got my teeth stuck in the metal type crate, so let's use a different type for me, just ask. / I'm doing well with my potty manners in my foster home with a few overnight accidents.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling up in your lap, snoozing the day away, and snuggling into soft blankets on a comfy dog bed. Soft toys are fun, too, but being close to my people is one of my favorite things! I'm a cozy little cuddle bug who believes there's no such thing as too much time to snuggle. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I previously had a broken right rear leg which has healed up pretty well. My foster reports that it does not slow me down—just ask about this.

Who We Are: Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Adopting a Friend: Dogs:
Our standard adoption fee is $299. Each dog that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) • De-Worming • Microchip • Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats and kittens. Each cat that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) • De-Worming • Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application through our website, www.mostlymutts.org. You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.
