Hi, I'm Houston! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself in need of a new home and family to love. I'm so grateful that Mostly Mutts was able to take me in and I am happy to be soaking up all the love from the volunteers. Now I'm ready to find a wonderful home of my own. Perhaps with you?

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was a tad unsure, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet and see if we can be buddies! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a very sweet, friendly boy with a calm nature! I was an absolute star for my bath and did a great job for my bather. Then it was time for my photo shoot, where I showed off my handsome looks and had some fun, too! I'm a lovely boy with a gentle personality, and I can't wait to share my sweetness and companionship with my furever family. / Energy level: 4-6.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don't think I know any commands yet, but Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let's do some training together. / I'm doing well with my crate manners at Mostly Mutts. / I'm doing very well with my potty manners at Mostly Mutts, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy getting pets, going for walks, and spending time with the nice volunteers! I love attention and companionship, and I'm always happy to enjoy a little quality time with my people. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / I can't think of any dislikes though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. Like many small dogs, I have a collapsing trachea, so I use a harness that doesn't put pressure on my neck and that works well for me—just ask.

Who We Are: Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Adopting a Friend: Dogs:
Our standard adoption fee is $299. Each dog that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) • De-Worming • Microchip • Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats and kittens. Each cat that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) • De-Worming • Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)

You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.
