Lotti's care needs are:
[YELLOW]Owner surrender due to housing issues, yellow on intake, barky but allowed intake.Owner described dog as toy poodle/terrier mix, obtained from a friend. Owner reported dog barks a lot, is friendly and playful, hyper, clingy and anxious, high energy; dog is used to living with adults, teenagers, children under 12 and dogs and cats; is playful and barks around children; recommended dog live with adults, children under 12 and teenagers; dog is playful around other dogs, is ok with certain dogs and barks and lunges at certain dogs; no reported bites; barks when stranger walks toward or passes home; isn't bothered by touching food bowl when eating, pushing off furniture or disturbing while sleeping or resting; is afraid of getting bathed or brushed.Initially timid/wary; once she is comfortable, playful, energetic puppy, will need continued appropriate socialization with new people, places and other animals, and positive reinforcement/rewards based training. Training should begin immediately before this puppy learns unwanted behaviors. Dog savvy, respectful children 8+ may be okay; younger kids not recommended due to typical puppy mouthiness and sharp teeth. Adopter must be prepared for the time, energy, patience and commitment needed to raise and train a puppy. Dog may not be a good fit in an apartment or with close neighbors given her barking behavior.[2026-08-11 20:28:00.000]
