Hi, I'm Colson! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers while I wait to find my new family. I'm really looking forward to that! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy with a fun, playful personality and a pretty smart little mind, too! I'm super sweet and love being around people and enjoy being part of the action. I can be a bit of a tripping hazard because I like to stay close to my people, so watch your step—I might be right underfoot! I also showed off my wonderful manners during my bath, staying calm and sweet while being pampered. I'm a delightful mix of playful fun and easygoing sweetness, and I can't wait to bring lots of smiles to my furever family! / Energy level: 5-7.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit' and 'down' commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, yummy treats, and getting lots of pets! Attention from my people is always a favorite, so I'm never one to turn down a little extra affection. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / I can't think of any dislikes though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

Who We Are: Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Adopting a Friend: Dogs:
Our standard adoption fee is $299. Each dog that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) • De-Worming • Microchip • Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats and kittens. Each cat that MM adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting: • Spay or Neuter Surgery • Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) • De-Worming • Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application through our website, www.mostlymutts.org. You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.
