Chihuahua
Brown/Chocolate
Each organization sets the adoption fee for their animals. Adoption fees help cover the cost of this animal’s care as well as allowing the organization to help more animals.
Honey will benefit from:
Positive reinforcement training
A calm and predictable routine
Gentle socialization and encouragement
Mental stimulation and interactive toys
Patience, consistency, and love
Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule:
3 days to decompress
3 weeks to learn your routine
3 months to fully feel at home
Giving Honey time to settle in will allow her loving personality to continue shining as she discovers the joy of having a family all her own.
Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care
Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, companionship, exercise, and routine veterinary care.
Honey will need:
Routine veterinary care and annual wellness exams
Preventative flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention
Proper nutrition and weight management
Daily walks and mental enrichment
Continued positive reinforcement training
A safe, stable indoor living environment
Because of her small size, Honey should always be supervised around larger dogs and young children who may accidentally injure her. A secure home and harness should always be used during walks and outdoor activities.
Honey is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
