Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care

Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life.

Brittney will need:

Daily walks, exercise, and interaction

Continued training and guidance

Routine veterinary care and wellness exams

Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

Proper nutrition and weight management

Mental stimulation and enrichment

A safe, stable, indoor living environment

Because of her smaller size, care should be taken around larger animals, rough play, and unsecured outdoor spaces.

Brittney is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
