Tubi (A140296) is a 4-year-old Miniature Poodle mix who weighed 17.7 pounds on intake! 10/23/26 Tubi was returned after a brief adoption due to not getting along with the puppy at home. It sounds like he was put directly in contact with the puppy without proper introductions, which resulted in him getting snappy. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach his surrendering owner for additional information. Tubi has a positive history with dogs from when he lived with a different family. We really want to stress the importance of proper introductions when introducing pets to new animals. There are great resources on the Fear Free Happy Homes website on how to do so. Tubi has always been a delight while at the shelter and we would love to see him succeed! If you are interested in meeting Tubi, please let us know! 10/17/26 Tubi, previously known as Teddy has found himself back at the shelter as he was to energetic for his elderly owner. Tubi was said to be outgoing and friendly in a home environment. He was also said to be good with children and strangers. He was also stated to be house broken, rides well in a car and is kennel trained. He is a younger dog with energy and is looking for a family that can match his spunk! He was said to do well with other dogs however has no history with cats or pocket pets. This happy and energetic boy is looking for a family that can match his spunk! If you are interested in meeting Tubi, please let us know!11/19/25 This cute little man is Teddy! Teddy arrived at the shelter via the overnight drop-off cages with no paperwork, so we do not know his history. On arrival at the shelter, Teddy was seen by the shelter vet and received treatment for a bad ear infection. It is recommended that the next owner follow up with their regular veterinarian in 2-3 weeks to ensure his ears are in tip-top shape. It is also recommended that he remain on a sensitive skin diet long term. He was also very matted on intake and had to be medically shaved. His next owner will need to keep him on a regular grooming schedule to prevent matting in the future. We do not know if he is fully housebroken and may need some reminders as he settles into his new routine. We have found that Teddy loves to talk and is quite vocal back in the kennels. This is something his next owner should be prepared for. We also do not know his history with other animals or people. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new people and animals to help set him up for success. If you are interested in meeting Teddy, please let us know!
