fairy

Meet Fairy, the 2 year old Calico cat! Fairy was found as a stray, so we don’t know her previous history, but the family who found her said she was very friendly! She has been affectionate with people here at the shelter, however she has seen other cats in the room and has not been so happy to see them. Because of this, Fairy might do better in a home where she is the only kitty. We are sure that in the proper home, Fairy will have a wonderful personality that will make you feel like you’ve been sprinkled in pixie dust!On Saturday, October 31st, the Shelter is celebrating Halloween through an “Adopt Your Boo” special. This cat’s adoption fee is reduced to $31.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
