~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,
things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your
adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam
and follow up exams.~
Health: Montana has Cataracts in both of his eyes making him sight impaired but not fully blind. Montana also has a grade 4 of 6 heart murmur which requires daily meds. ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****
Temperament: Meet Montana: A Tiny Gentleman Looking for His Forever Lap
At just 4.5 pounds, 12-year-old Montana is proof that the sweetest hearts come in the tiniest packages. This precious Pomeranian is a quiet, gentle little gentleman who would love nothing more than to spend his golden years curled up in a loving lap.
Montana is sight-impaired due to cataracts. His right eye has no vision, and his left eye has minimal vision. He will need one eye drop daily for life to help prevent further deterioration. He also has a grade 4/6 heart murmur and requires daily medication.
Despite his medical needs, Montana is an absolute sweetheart. He is crate trained, incredibly quiet, and we don’t think we’ve heard him make a single peep! He isn’t a fan of having his eyes cleaned, but he’s so adorable that he somehow gets away with it.
Montana was shaved before arriving at the rescue, and his coat is currently quite damaged. We aren’t sure whether his fluffy fur will grow back, but no matter what, he is perfect just as he is.
This tiny senior deserves a safe, loving home where he can be cherished for the rest of his life—and never end up as a stray again. Could you be Montana’s forever lap? --
Where did he come from: He was found as a stray a few months ago and sadly no owner was found.
