About Oak’s Breed:
Our best guess is that Oak is a Chihuahua mixed breed. Chihuahua puppies are tiny, spirited, and full of personality, often blending bold curiosity with sweet, snuggly affection. Even at a young age, they’re people oriented and thrive on being close to their humans, soaking up attention and reassurance. They’re smart, expressive, and eager to learn, especially when training is kept positive and gentle.
Their ideal home is one that offers patience, structure, and lots of loving interaction. Because Chihuahuas are small and still developing confidence, they flourish in families who can guide them through puppyhood with consistency and kindness. They do well in homes where they’re included in daily life, protected from rough handling, and given plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and bond. With warmth, routine, and supportive humans, Chihuahua puppies grow into devoted, joyful companions.
What to Love about Oak:
Oak is a short, stocky little man with soft dark fur and adorable white “socks” on his feet — truly a tiny standout! Oak loves going to the beach with his foster family and has big dreams of becoming a beach bum or a dedicated surfing spectator (he’ll leave the actual surfing to the humans). His happy, bouncy personality makes every outing an adventure!
He’s playful, social, and loves rolling around with his siblings, who are his best friends. Oak has been wonderful with other dogs and kids, and while he hasn’t met cats yet, he’d be open to a gentle meet and greet. He’s bright, eager, and learning quickly — especially when it comes to potty training — and he’s excited to keep growing with a family who will guide him with patience and love.
Oak can’t wait to become part of a family all his own and learn how to be the very best boy. With his joyful spirit, beach day enthusiasm, and sweet puppy heart, he’s ready to bring endless happiness to his forever home!
