Alys #1 | 6-month-old Mixed Breed | Playful pup with a cuddly side
Alys is a 25-pound sweetheart with plenty of puppy energy and an equally cuddly side. This brown-and-black girl is doing great with her crate, sleeps through the night, and can stay home alone for 6–8 hours with some initial whining before settling down. She’s almost completely house trained and uses a doggie door, although a few accidents may happen as she adjusts to a new environment. She’s also a wonderful walking companion and is already showing off her skills with commands like sit, stay, wait, leave it, and down.
Alys loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend in her forever home to play with. She’s playful, sweet, affectionate, and enjoys toys, chewing bones, and snuggling under the covers with her head resting on you. She has plenty of energy and would love a family ready for walks, hikes, playtime, and other adventures. She can be a little mouthy during play and sometimes jumps on people, but she is responding well to structure and boundaries.
Alys is motivated by food and has a particular fondness for antlers, sheep horns, stuffed toys, and beef liver. She hasn’t met cats or children yet, so those introductions are still an unknown. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active puppy who also knows how to cuddle, Alys may be your girl!
If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $475 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following:
Spay/neuter
Microchip
DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.
