Hi! You can call me Coral! I am a tortoiseshell girl who is 5 months old. I'm sharing a cage with some of my siblings, including my sister Bubbles, who is also a tortie like me--her face has a split in coloring right down her nose, and mine doesn't. That's the easiest way to tell us apart. If we're being truthful here, I am pretty scared here in the shelter. There's so much going on, and I don't understand much of it. I do like that there's food for me, and sometimes people bring toys for us to play with. But if you come visit me, I might hiss at you to start with, because most people I've interacted with were giving me vaccines or something...and no one enjoys getting shots! At least I don't. So you're going to need to be patient with me. Maybe try giving me some treats. I know my furever family is out there looking for me; I just hope that they will give me a chance when they meet me!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
