Meet Ellie, the female kitten! Ellie just returned from her foster home who reports: “What a fun group this has been to foster! They are social and sweet and appreciate the company of humans. They love playing with wand toys, racing up and down their cat tree, wrestling in a big heap, and scouting the best nap spots. Given easy access to a clean litter box, they'll use it like champs. Their coats and markings are striking and they will all grow up to be beautiful cats! Ellie is a gentle soul with a striking bullseye coat. She enjoys visits from humans but prefers to watch from a distance initially. I have no doubt that she will bloom with humans who will help her gain confidence at her own pace. When she's playing with her siblings, her goofy side shines!”Ellie is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
