Meet Archie, the male kitten! Archie just returned from his foster home who reports: “What a fun group this has been to foster! They are social and sweet and appreciate the company of humans. They love playing with wand toys, racing up and down their cat tree, wrestling in a big heap, and scouting the best nap spots. Given easy access to a clean litter box, they'll use it like champs. Their coats and markings are striking and they will all grow up to be beautiful cats! Darwin is a sweet and social boy with a curious mind - much like the man he was named for. He runs right up for attention when I come into the room. His unusual buff-colored coat makes him a stand-out among gingers!”Darwin is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
