Meet Miss Black Marvel is a little miracle ready for her forever family. It’s hard to believe that this beautiful, bright-eyed black Lab girl puppy looked very different just five short weeks ago. Miss Black Marvel and her sister were found as young puppies in heartbreaking conditions, having already endured more neglect than any puppy ever should.
But Miss Marvel truly lives up to her name. Thanks to the compassionate woman who rescued the sisters, along with the care and medical support of Critter Cavalry Rescue, Miss Marvel has blossomed into a healthy, happy and loving 4-month-old Black Lab girl weighing about 20 pounds. Her difficult beginning is behind her, and now she is ready for the wonderful life she has always deserved.
One of the most special things about Miss Marvel is her beautiful way with children. She has been a wonderful playmate and companion to the two special-needs children in her foster home, showing us just how loving, adaptable and affectionate this little girl can be. We believe she would absolutely shine in a family with children who are ready to grow up alongside a devoted four-legged friend.
Miss Marvel is crate trained and nearly housebroken, which is quite an accomplishment for such a young puppy. She will need continued leash training and consistent practice with her walking manners, but she has all the right ingredients—intelligence, eagerness and a desire to please—to become an exceptional family companion.
At heart, Miss Marvel is exactly what a puppy should be: playful, joyful, curious and full of fun. She dreams of a family who will give her plenty of exercise and adventures, teach her new things, and then make room for her on the couch when the day is done. And if there happens to be a spot beside you at bedtime, we have a feeling Miss Marvel would happily volunteer for that job, too.
We expect this 20-pound puppy to grow into a beautiful adult of approximately 45 pounds—the perfect size for joining in on family adventures and curling up close for plenty of snuggles.
Miss Marvel’s first months of life may not have shown her the kindness she deserved, but they certainly did not take away her loving spirit. Her past is only the beginning of her story. Her forever family gets to help write the rest.
Please consider giving this very special Tennessee Treasure the happy ending—and wonderful new beginning—she has been waiting for.
