Some puppies simply seem to have a little something special about them, and Halo is one of those girls. The moment you meet her, there is an almost calming sweetness about her that makes you understand exactly how she earned her name.
Halo is playful and fun, but she has an unusual ability for such a young puppy to settle herself and match the energy around her. She can be your silly little puppy one minute, ready for a game of tug or a few zoomies around the yard, and the next she is curled up beside you, completely content just to be close. Her favorite place seems to be wherever her person is, whether that means tucked into your lap or pressed against your side for a good cuddle.
Her foster mom has been especially impressed by Halo’s gentle, reassuring presence and can easily imagine her growing into the kind of companion who brings comfort wherever she goes. She is exceptionally bright, eager to learn and seems to have all the qualities that make training enjoyable. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, and while she hasn’t been tested with cats yet, her easygoing personality makes us hopeful she could make a wonderful feline friend as well.
Halo comes from a wonderfully sweet Golden Retriever mix momma, and that loving temperament seems to have been passed right along to her puppies. Halo is working hard on becoming completely potty trained and is already off to a great start.
We expect this little angel to grow into a beautiful 50–55 pound adult, but right now she is still very much a puppy with a whole lifetime of love ahead of her. Halo isn’t looking for just any home. She is waiting for the person or family who will recognize what a special girl she is and give her the chance to grow into the incredible companion we already see in her.
Halo is ready to bring a little piece of heaven into someone’s life.
