Meet Diesel! Diesel is a sweet, one-year-old Goldendoodle mix looking for a loving forever home. He was surrendered when his previous owner moved and, sadly, was unable to take him along. Despite this big change, Diesel is ready to put his past behind him and start his next chapter with a family of his own.Diesel has lived with people of all ages and is friendly with most dogs he meets. He can be a little timid when meeting new people or finding himself in an unfamiliar situation, but give him a little time and reassurance, and he warms up quickly. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and affectionate personality really shines. According to his previous owner, Diesel's favorite things are playing fetch, getting lots of pets, and snuggling with his people. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
