Meet Binx, the 3 year old female cat. Binx arrived to the Shelter with another cat, who has since been adopted. Binx was described as friendly with people, including strangers that would visit. She also has experience with children as young as 3 years old, although she didn’t like when the child got really loud. Binx met a large breed dog once and had some big feelings. A home free of dogs is recommended moving forward. She does not have any experience with other cats outside of the one she lived with. A home with another cat may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. She used the litterbox reliably in her home. Binx is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Binx’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
