Meet Chase, the male brown tabby. Chase came into the Shelter after his previous guardian became allergic to him. Chase was surrendered with his mom Luna, who is also up for adoption. They could be adopted together but are not required to be. Chase has history around a medium sized dog and did well. He also lived with children as young as 6 years old and did fine. Chase was indoor-outdoor in his previous home. A home with a similar set up may be appropriate after a period of acclimation to the new home (at least 30 days). Chase may be just as happy being indoor only. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
