Meira is an adorable female, 3 pound, brown, 6-week-old Dachshund mix who is officially ready to start searching for his forever family!
Like any typical puppy, Meira is busy discovering just how much fun the world can be. She is learning to play with her siblings, exploring new toys and surroundings, and getting more comfortable meeting new people every day.
At this young age, Meira's personality is still developing, but she is already showing plenty of puppy curiosity, sweetness, and those irresistible little antics that keep his foster family entertained.
Meira's forever family will need to be ready for all the fun—and work—that comes with raising a puppy, including house training, socialization, basic manners, and lots of love and patience.
Meira is available to meet her potential forever family now and will be ready to officially head home beginning August 29th.

The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
