Bluey is a 4 year old female Pit mix with a stunning blue-gray coat, an adorable little smile, and just the right amount of "chonky" to make her absolutely irresistible! Bluey is the total package … gorgeous looks, a calm and sweet nature, impeccable manners, and a heart full of love! She hasn’t been available for adoption long, but she has already stolen the hearts of our staff and volunteers. Bluey walks very well on a leash, and politely greets other dogs and even cats that she passes along the way. While she definitely enjoys going on walks, this lovable girl is happiest soaking up affection with her people, and seems perfectly suited for life as your favorite couch buddy. Whether it's a movie night or a lazy afternoon, Bluey will be right by your side, keeping you company with her gentle charm. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
