Meet Milky Way!
Milky Way is a gentle senior boy searching for a patient family who will give him the time he needs to feel safe again. He came to us with his sister, Rosette, after their beloved owner passed away, leaving them both to start over in an unfamiliar world.
Milky Way is shy and nervous when meeting new people and would much rather run away than confront a scary situation. He'll need a calm, understanding home that lets him settle in at his own pace without rushing him. The good news is that once he begins to trust you, his affectionate personality shines through. He loves climbing into your lap for attention and cuddles, and he even enjoys getting dressed up in cute outfits!
Milky Way gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a quiet home with older, considerate children who understand that he needs patience while he adjusts.
Milky Way has had bloodwork completed, and everything came back normal. Milky way does have a 3/6 heart murmur. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto.

Milky Way is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
