Approximate Weight: 12 lbs
Gets Along With: Gingersnap does well with other dog and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Special adoption considerations: Gingersnap is shy and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.
Gingersnap is Looking For: A real home. Gingersnap and a bunch of other scruffy cuties that look just like her landed in the shelter. They all are sweet - but scared. Gingersnap hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet so she's both uncertain and scared in new places - AND she is eager to make up for lost time!
She'd like her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration. And snuggles, definitely snuggles. Making new pup pals along the way would be great too. And she'd like to go to dog school too - it's never too late to become a scholar!
Most of all, she'd like to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved for all her days. In exchange she promises so much love, so much loyalty. What do you say? Can you see her by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has spent time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
