Gets Along With: Junie does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Special adoption considerations: Junie was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived her whole life with other dogs. New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety. She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of her shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place. And because she is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.Junie is Looking For: Her forever home, filled with snuggles and opportunities to see the world! One where she is a cherished part of a family. She's very sweet, and SO ready to be a Real Dog.Extra patient and loving humans who introduce her to new places and people at her pace are exactly what she wants!
