Former bush cat Quince brings a touch of Dekalb everywhere she goes, from the butterfly on her lower back to the way she demolishes wet food in the afternoon. She loves being under things, pouncing, and rugs in the sunlight. With her, you are never alone. You will find her waiting on the other side of the door, while you shower, and pawing at your laptop while you work. She always wants to know what you’re up to, and when you’re up to nothing, she’ll settle down right next to you, especially if you’re in one of her favorite spots.
Quince is very curious, but also very cautious. You’ll find her peeking around corners and peering into bathtubs, but never getting stuck somewhere she can’t get down. She loves to chase and to be chased.
If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and very curious cat, Quince is the girl for you. She’s good alone, if you’re able to give her a lot of attention. She’s very trainable, especially when given dry kibble. She loves humans, and gets along really well with other people. Once she’s settled into your home, she’ll fit right in. Give her a lot of love, she deserves it.
