What to Love about Skylar:

Skylar is still learning how to be a dog, but she’s making beautiful progress — especially when playing with her foster family’s Malti Poo. Skylar is playful and affectionate, yet still skittish, and she needs a patient adopter who can gently introduce her to new environments and help her build confidence and trust. She bonds strongly to men and absolutely adores her foster dad, so she’d be thrilled to have a “dad/man” (or two!) in her forever home!

Skylar does wonderfully with dogs her size and would enjoy having a small doggie friend, though she’d also be happy as your one and only lap companion. She’s fearful of larger dogs, but she’s open to meeting cats and would likely do well with a calm introduction. With medium energy and a more submissive play style, she enjoys neighborhood walks and is great on a leash. Skylar is doing well with her potty training but still has occasional accidents. She’s crate trained and settles nicely when left alone.
