About Barris’s Breed: Our best guess is that Barris is a Cairn Terrier breed. Cairn Terriers are spirited, intelligent, and confident small dogs with a classic terrier personality — bold, curious, and always ready for action. They were originally bred in Scotland to hunt vermin among stone cairns, which gives them their trademark fearlessness and high energy. Modern Cairns remain lively, affectionate with their families, and full of character, often described as hardy, playful, and alert.

Their ideal home is one that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. Cairns thrive in apartments or houses as long as they have daily activity and engagement.
