Maria is still a young puppy who is learning about the world around her. Her adopter should be prepared for normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, occasional accidents, testing boundaries, and becoming distracted during training.
Because she comes from two intelligent and energetic breeds, Maria will need regular opportunities to use both her body and her mind. Without enough exercise, enrichment, and guidance, active puppies may become bored and create their own entertainment. Short, positive training sessions throughout the day will help Maria develop good manners while strengthening the bond with her family.
Maria will benefit from:
House-training and a consistent bathroom schedule
Basic obedience and leash training
Positive reinforcement with treats, toys, and praise
Age-appropriate exercise and supervised play
Continued socialization with new people and environments
Mental stimulation through puzzles, scent games, and training
Patience, supervision, and consistent boundaries

Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care
Adopting a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, companionship, and regular veterinary care.
Maria will need:
Routine veterinary examinations and wellness care
Preventative flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite protection
Proper nutrition to support healthy growth
Continued training and socialization
Daily physical exercise and mental enrichment
Safe supervision around water and during outdoor activities
A secure, stable indoor living environment
Because Maria is still growing, strenuous repetitive exercise and excessive jumping should be limited until her joints have developed. Her family should work with a veterinarian to determine the appropriate diet, exercise, and preventative-care plan for her age and expected adult size.
Maria is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
