Zach came to MCHS on July 12 with his sisters after they were being fostered by another rescue and needed a new place to go. These pups were born on April 27th and their mother appeared to be a pit bull type dog, around 60 pounds. We don't know who fathered them. Zach is happy and healthy and has the classic puppy energy. He has been vet checked, microchipped, and received all of his age appropriate vaccinations, including his rabies shot, but is not quite old enough to be neutered. The surgery will be coordinated with his adopter once he is older. The neuter is required by us and, along with the rest of his vetting, is covered under his $150 adoption fee.
Because he is a puppy, Zach will need training in all areas. He's looking for a home in which he won't be left alone for long hours. He should do well with other dogs and kids and is young enough to learn to interact properly with cats. We are guessing he will be a medium-sized to large dog at maturity. He's a typical puppy, full of mischief and very playful!
NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.
