Meet Betty!
Betty is a beautiful 3 to 4-year-old girl who weighs about 25 pounds and has a heart as big as her ears. She loves people, adores affection, and is happiest when she's close to the humans she loves.
Before coming to rescue, Betty was surviving on the streets while caring for her puppies all on her own. Despite the uncertainty of life as a stray, she did everything she could to keep her babies safe. Eventually, Betty and her puppies ended up in an overcrowded shelter, where their future was uncertain. Thankfully, Starfish Animal Rescue stepped in and gave them the second chance they deserved.
Now Betty is settling into her foster home, while her puppies are safe and thriving in a foster home of their own. Betty is calm, quiet, does wonderfully in her crate, and is doing an excellent job with potty training.
For so long, Betty's only job was making sure her puppies had what they needed. She put them first every single day. Now that they've grown and are safe, it's finally Betty's turn. It's her turn to have a soft bed, regular meals, gentle hands, and a family who will love and protect her the way she always protected her babies.
Betty has spent enough time taking care of everyone else. Now she's ready for someone to take care of her. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who has so much love to give, Betty is waiting to meet you.
