Marley is a handsome 2-year-old orange tabby with a one-of-a-kind look to match his wonderful personality. One of his ears is adorably crinkled, and the other has a tiny notch missing—a reminder of his days as a friendly neighborhood stray before he was rescued and brought to safety.
These days, Marley is much more interested in the comforts of indoor life, especially gentle pets and spending time with people. He's a sweet, affectionate guy who loves attention and is always happy to soak up scratches from anyone willing to give them.
Marley's rough days are behind him, and now he's looking for a forever home where he can trade life on the streets for cozy naps, loving hands, and a family to call his own. If you're looking for a charming orange cat with a big heart and a little extra character, Marley is ready to meet you!
Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
