Marti is a very special, soft-hearted girl with a gentle spirit. After a rough start in life where she was separated from her family due to severe illness, weeks in medical isolation left her completely shut down. It took over a month of quiet dedication—including sleeping on her foster mom's desk at work every day—for Marti to learn that human hands mean love and safety.
Marti is a sweet, delicate soul who needs an exceptionally patient adopter and a quiet, predictable home. No small children or dogs for this shy girl, as loud noises and fast movements can easily overwhelm her. She will require a dedicated "safe room" stocked with cat trees, tunnels, and toys, and it may take an extended period of time for her to fully adjust and blossom. But when she does adjust....watch out, she's hilarious and rambunctious!
Marti’s Favorite Things & Quirks: Soft-Hearted & Quirky: Marti is a communicative little lady who gently lets you know how she’s feeling. Once comfortable, she will jump into your lap, play softly, and zoom around the bed.
The Loudest Purr: When she feels safe and happy, her purr is remarkably loud! She adores quiet nose kisses (though she politely growls ( it's cute, like really, we are doing this again???, lol) to let you know she prefers not to be picked up).
Food & Toy Lover: She loves toys, food, and Churus! Because of her early starvation days, she can be a bit protective of her food and will happily clean everyone else's plate.
Bunny Approved: Just like Fizzy, Marti is completely safe around house bunnies!
Marti will take time to show you her full heart, but watching this gentle girl trust you is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable.

This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV.
