After a home became engulfed in flames, it was deemed too dangerous to live in and condemned. Thankfully, no lives were lost, but there were 16 cats who were residing inside who were now destitute. Aberdeen was one of these kitties, and she arrived to her foster home with a batch of kittens who were just two to three weeks old. She was a wonderful and caring mother for them, tending to their every need. This motherly love is shown in her personality if you ever get the chance to meet her!
To meet her is to love her, and for her to meet you is to love you, as her foster puts it. She is extremely affectionate and can't seem to get enough of people. She will sit on your lap no matter where you are - the couch, chair, and even in bed! In fact, scooch over! She would love to sleep next to you! She get along with other kitties, thanks to her time socializing with them in the abandoned house. We think she would do okay with children and dogs, but it has not been tested. She's a talker, and she knows how to carry a conversation! If there is a fake mouse nearby, then it won't stand a chance against her! Because she is so darn loving, she can't sit still for more than a second, making it hard to get pictures of her! But trust us! She's adorable! Her cutest spot is the little white splotch on her chest, and it's the only bit of white she has on her!
Aberdeen's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
