A BRIGHTER TOMORROW STARTS WITH A HOME
If you look closely at Lady Blue, you may notice the scar around her neck. She arrived at the shelter with an indication of a laceration in that area, suspected to be as a result of having been tethered. We can’t change whatever happened before she came through our doors—but we can hope her future tells a very different story.
Because there is so much more to Lady Blue.
This beautiful 67-pound girl is affectionate, attentive and happiest when she’s spending time with people. Give her some gentle pets and kind words, and she’s right there with you. She knows “sit,” walks nicely on leash, and has discovered that a kiddie pool is a pretty wonderful way to spend a Florida summer.
Lady Blue has also become more confident in playgroup and enjoys the company of other dogs. She does best with calm introductions and respectful, easygoing companions. She’s responsive to guidance and can redirect well when needed.
Maybe her scar is a reminder of where she’s been. But it doesn’t have to define where she’s going.
Lady Blue deserves a loving home where she can feel safe, valued and cared for—and where the rest of her story can be a happy one.
