Mork, and his sister Mindy, are a young, bonded sister and brother pair that came to CARE as 1–2-week-old bottle feeders. They were found in a drain with no mom around in Chatham County. After monitoring the situation for a while with no return of mom, it was determined that the safest thing for the kittens was to bring them into rescue.
Both have unique personalities, but they are both equally loving, affectionate and playful.
Mork is the big eater and likes to control the food dish, even when his 17-pound foster brother is around who patiently tolerates his immature behavior. He equally entertains himself and his sister and annoys his dog family by just being present (poor Mork- he really just wants to play). He does get the message but occasionally Mork and his sister get the opportunity to cuddle with the dogs (although against the dogs' own will).
Mindy is a much picker eater, but she does eat. No wet food has tempted her but she sure does enjoy human food - chicken, salmon, eggs. She has learned that she also needs to eat kitten dry food, which she has now resorted to as well.
Mindy is your lap cat. Mork is your cat that likes to be by your side. Both seem to come out of the woodwork when you are folding laundry, sleeping, making the bed, watching TV, working on the computer. Actually, they just like to be around their human family all the time.
They have been raised with dogs and other cats, kids and adults. They are great with everyone they meet. No matter who picks them up, they will immediately start to purr.
This pair will surely add smiles, laughs, comfort and affection to your family's life.
