Physical Description
Shammy is a lanky medium haired mostly black kitty. She has a tiny bit of white on her belly and her floofy tail leans a little to the grey side. She looks like she’ll grow into a regal fluffy black cat.
Personality
Shammy is quite a love bug. Her purr is infectious and her biscuit making is off the charts cute. She’s playful and not aggressive. Her favorite toy is a fish on a stick. She’s a little shy at first, but her curiosity wins her over and she’s quick to make friends.

Apply to adopt here!
It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.
The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com.
All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $150 for one kitten or $100 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
