BLYSS NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Blyss Best Guess for Breed: Lab/Border Collie Mix Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of November 2026 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 39lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We have also tested her with some of the cats at the shelter, and she did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that Blyss could live with a cat, she has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack! We haven't seen them with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: SC shelter!

Blyss is Looking For: I dream of a forever home with loving humans! My tail wags just thinking about it! As my name suggests, I am very sweet. I also have very soft, big floppy ears-I must admit they are very cute and also great for me listen to you. I envision my forever humans and I will go on adventures together and also snuggle! Oh, and good dog food and some dog school so I can be the very best version of myself! What do you think?! Are you my forever family? Would you like to meet me? I hope so!!! What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon!! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
