apollo

Meet Apollo, a sweet little Yorkie who is still learning that the world and the people in it are safe! Because Apollo didn’t have much human socialization before coming into rescue, he is very timid at first and needs a calm, patient person, preferably at home alot, willing to give him time and space to settle in. It takes him about three weeks to truly open up, but once he trusts you, he becomes your devoted little shadow—following you everywhere, keeping you company, and cozying up right at your feet. Interestingly, Apollo isn't shy around other dogs at all! He lights up around canine companions of any size, especially bigger dogs and loves to join in on playtime, and gains so much confidence from having a doggy buddy to guide him. His ideal home includes a securely fenced yard for outside sniffing and exploring, plus a friendly, playful resident dog to help show him the ropes. If you have a peaceful heart, a little patience, and a cozy spot near your feet, Apollo is ready to grow into your most loyal friend! Apply today on the MACS Friends website!
