DOB 10/16/23, weight 15 #
Hey there, everyone! I’m Chiquillo, a friendly, spunky, and curious black and tan Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) fella who packs a huge, spirited personality into my 15-pound body. I can be bold and fearless, traits that I inherited from both my parent breeds. Yet Chiweenies form intensely loyal one-person or family-centric bonds with our hoomans. I’m all wags and grins when I’m actively playing with my toys and interfacing with Foster Mom. Plus I get along great with the other small dogs and even the cats in my foster home.
My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because I already walk well on a leash. Plus I’m crate-trained.
I was happily situated in my adoptive home, along with my buddies Boy and King, until my hooman mom was hospitalized and my elderly hooman dad could not care for the three of us. Thank heavens my new foster mom opened her arms and home to all of us until we can find a new home.
Now I’m ready to brighten my forever home with the love and laughter that I’ll engender with my playful antics. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.
