Meet Lychee and her brother from another mother, Sir Kneads A Lot!
These two may not be blood-related, but they're deeply bonded in all other ways. They act (and look) like twins and do everything together. They love chasing each other through tunnels and across the couch and tables, chowing down on their food, rolling up in their humans' laps, and eventually snuggling together on a fuzzy blanket while cleaning each other extensively. They're incredibly well socialized, affectionate, and constantly purring. They will do well in most environments, but should be adopted into a home where they can be both entertained and kept safe -- like any other kitten pair. They're great with other cats, dogs, and kids.
Lychee (Scottish Straight girl) and Sir Kneads (Lynx point box) must be adopted together. They will start out as a foster to adopt, as Lychee is in the FIP observation period after successfully completing her treatment. This period will end in late January, at which point the adoption would become official.
We've put an incredible amount of work into her recovery, so we're looking for an adopter who's committed to:
Taking Lychee to and from vet appointments approx. every 4 weeks. BAA will cover the cost of those FIP follow-up appointments.
Feeding both a high-quality (and quantity) diet, as both are growing kittens
We particularly welcome applicants who have experience with FIP cats or with treating other medical conditions in pets. While no special skills are required, we would love for them to go to an experienced home.
Today, Lychee is a healthy and perfect kitten. She and Sir Kneads are about 5 months old. Both are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
Because of their special breed, their adoption fee is $700.
To give this truly special pair a home, please fill out the application on our Website.
Mention SuseG as the rescuer, and Lychee and Sir Kneads as the cats.
