FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR LUCY

This beautiful girl is 4 years old, about 30 lbs., and believed to be a Husky/Pomeranian mix. Before coming to CCRC, Lucy was used for breeding and had never even stepped outside.

Imagine experiencing the world for the very first time at four years old.

Lucy has been slowly learning that life can be safe, kind, and even fun. She has already made so much progress, but now she needs a foster home or even better, a foster-to-adopt home

Lucy will need a safe, quiet space in the home where she can decompress and acclimate.

She needs someone patient who understands that new things will take her a little longer.

She has done amazing with the dogs she has met, so another friendly, confident dog could be a wonderful companion for her.

And you won’t be doing this alone. CCRC will set both you AND Lucy up for success. We provide the supplies, guidance, transportation and support you need along the way.

Lucy has spent enough of her life simply existing. Now we want her to learn what it means to be someone’s dog.
