Ripou is a sweet one-year-and-a-bit male who was rescued from a life on the streets thanks to concerned neighbors worried about his safety: he was being attacked by other neighborhood cats, and no one believed he'd survive the winter on the streets of the Ville-Marie neighborhood.
This handsome black cat with a white patch is a true charmer: kind, sociable, and chatty, he adores humans and isn't shy about letting you know it. He has a slight tendency to nip, but nothing that can't be worked on — playing with a feather wand helps him keep some distance from our hands, and a home without other cats would go a long way in helping him stay calm rather than overstimulated. That said, he could potentially have a feline companion if their energy levels are a good match. In fact, Ripou could easily thrive as the only cat in the household, where he'd have all the space he needs to feel secure. He could also do well in a home with children, as long as they're old enough to understand and respect his limits.
A loyal companion, he'll always be by your side and will follow you everywhere, trotting along and ready to tell you all about his day. You'll need to stay vigilant with doors leading outside, though, as he has a real talent for slipping through them. He'll follow you to the ends of the earth!
Ripou is an adult
cat, therefore the adoption fee is $310$. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Six weeks of pet insurance are included with the adoption. You will also have access to support from our adoption team for as long as needed, as well as a free 30-minute video consultation within the first month after adoption with our feline behavior consultant, FelineGood
