Meet Holly! This sweet, gentle girl is approximately 4-5 years old and 57 lbs. After being found by a kind citizen, her previous owner was located through her microchip but was sadly unable to take her back due to life circumstances. Now she's in foster care she's ready for a fresh start with a family of her own.
Holly is a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she loves pets and attention. She's generally calm but enjoys getting outside to run and play, especially with her best friend Duke. She also rides well in the car and enjoys the company of other dogs.
Holly will need a patient family willing to give her time to build trust and confidence. She hasn't mastered basic commands yet, and training has been a challenge as she learns to feel comfortable with her people. She'll need understanding, consistency, and time to come out of her shell. She does well with children, but older kids are preferred because she can be skittish.
Holly is crate trained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has received 12-month heartworm prevention.
