The most important thing to know about Honeycrisp is that she loves her sister Gala above all else! They are extremely close and do everything together. Still, while Honeycrisp may be shy, she's usually the first to instigate play — starting with a game of chase. Scrambling and jumping on small toys – especially her favorite springs – is the best! Honeycrisp also spends a lot of time proudly parading with her prize. Her play approach is both adorable and hilarious as her foster says she’ill jump three times higher than needed to pounce on her toy.
Honeycrisp loves being around humans but takes more time getting used to people. Once she decides you’re trustworthy, you’re in! Honeycrisp will happily accept belly rubs when she’s sleepy but is less interested in pets. This sweet girl can be vocal: at times — she loudly purrs when she’s happy and offers noisy meows when she sees her food. In fact, the only competition between the sisters is when there’s food or a treat available.
