Reva needs a little help and patience. We know she is a sweet cat because we spent a lot of time with her one-on-one in the intake area, even giving her medicine for typical parasite control. She was always calm and relaxed and had a very comforting demeanor--in fact, her kittens are the ultra-social litter, mostly dilute torties, with R names! She raised those babies to be so friendly, but Reva herself is having a little trouble getting used to a community room. This honestly isn't a huge surprise when it comes to cats in general, as most need a gradual transition to any new situation. It's amazing most of our cats do so well when it's not really practical for us to slowly introduce them! So Reva is feeling a little shy right now and doesn't always want to come out, though she is not fighting or causing any problems. She is just taking things at her own pace, and we hope a bit of time will help her adjust so that this description can be updated! Before you meet beautiful Reva, you must know that she's had hard times in her life and she may not crawl right into your lap. . . but you also must know that she does like people, and she just needs time and stability to shine and to bond with the human she has always dreamed of. Would you be willing to take a chance on her? Could you find a place in your heart for her to get comfortable and share her purrs forever?
Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!
We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.
Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
