Who is this sweet man? That man is Ham! He is a 4yo beagle basset mix.
Ham needs the most special forever home because he needs somebody who is willing to adopt or foster him and help him through heartworm treatment, at OBHR‘s cost!
Ham came to OBHR with two other dogs from a hoarding situation in St. Louis Missouri. He is good with other dogs and lived in a foster home in St. Louis for a few weeks with cats with no issues also. He is a shy guy who would do best with another dog to keep him company. He is up-to-date on his shots, However he is not able to be neutered until after his heartworm treatment is complete as we cannot subject him to anesthesia until his heart is healthy. All of this will be done at our cost as long as you can bring him back to our Vet in the Columbus area for treatment.
Ham will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard and he is currently located in the Columbus area. If you are willing to open your heart and home to this special boy, please fill out the online application on our website and once Approved shoot us an email. We are looking for either a Foster, Foster to adopt or adaptive home for him! Ohio and bordering states only please.
