Meet Lillie! Also known as Lillie Bird, Bird Dog, and Lillian! Lillie is a playful, curious pup with a big personality and plenty of puppy energy! This adorable Great Pyrenees/Blue Heeler mix is full of life, always keeping busy, exploring her world, and finding something new to get into. She’s your typical puppy — sweet, curious, a little mischievous, and occasionally blessed with some selective hearing! Lillie loves spending time outside, chewing on her favorite Benebones, and playing with the resident dog. She’s a busy girl who enjoys having toys to keep her entertained, especially since just about anything can become a chew toy if it belongs to her foster mom! Lillie does wonderfully with other dogs, but she doesn’t necessarily need a canine sibling to be happy. She’s also great with cats! Her prey drive seems pretty low — unless a grasshopper happens to hop by! Lillie can be a little unsure when visitors come into the home and may bark protectively when new people arrive. She needs time, patience, and gentle introductions to feel comfortable with unfamiliar people. A family willing to help her build confidence and learn that new faces can be friends will be important for this sweet girl. Lillie can be protective of her food while eating in her kennel, so she’ll need a separate, safe feeding space away from other pets. Positive, reward-based training will help her continue learning and developing good habits as she grows. She’s kennel trained but is still working on her house training. Like any growing puppy, Lillie will need consistency, structure, and a family committed to helping her become the best version of herself. A secure 6-foot fence is recommended to help keep this energetic little jumper safe. Because Lillie can be vocal when visitors arrive, apartment living wouldn’t be the right fit for her. With a little patience, lots of love, and plenty of toys to keep her busy, Lillie has all the makings of a wonderful lifelong companion. The suggested adoption fee for Lillie is $465. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.
